I am surprised with the reviews, but I thought this place was spot on, especially with their Mutton Juicy Mandi. The Mandi was truly amazing and the best we have had so far. Dosa was a little thick, but the rest of the food was spot on, and I will go back again for sure. Medu Vada and Puff were exceptional, too. The filter coffee was also delicious. Don't let reviews fool you as I think they deserve a try with the plenty amount of options they have.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Indian restaurant with really delicious food. The flavors are authentic, rich, and well-balanced. Everything we tried was fresh and perfectly cooked, especially the curries and naan. The spices were just right, not overpowering. Service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was comfortable. Definitely a great place if you’re craving tasty Indian food. Highly recommend!

We recently visited Desi District and had a lovely experience! We started with the dahi puri, which was fresh, tangy, and full of flavor. The paneer kathi roll was the only letdown—it tasted frozen and didn’t feel as fresh as the other items. But things definitely picked up from there! The manchurian was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, and the schezwan noodles were absolutely amazing—spicy, savory, and so satisfying. For dessert, we indulged in rabdi, gulab jamun, black forest pastry, and paan—each one was better than the last! Everything was rich, fresh, and delicious. We especially loved the desserts and noodles—definitely coming back for those!

You can tell the food is made with authenticity and care—rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and the right amount of seasoning in every bite. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm, modern, and welcoming, making it a great place for families, friends, or even a quick bite. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive, which makes the whole dining experience even better. Whether you’re craving snacks, full meals, or something unique from Desi cuisine, this place never disappoints. Overall, Desi District offers amazing food, great service, and a wonderful vibe. Definitely a go-to spot for anyone who loves delicious Desi flavors. Highly recommended!

If you want the taste of Indian street food within the confines of a restaurant, this place is the right one. The feel inside is very much like that of a very busy Indian restaurant in busy towns in India. Very casual ambiance. It’s order up front, pay, and pick up when ready. Fully self serve. There’s an array of North and South Indian items along with Indo-Chinese fusion offerings. Portions are large and price is very reasonable.

Heard a lot about this place and wanted to try it out since a long time. Ambience does a super job in replicating the Indian cafe feel. Speedy service. A large variety of food to choose from. Taste wise mediocre/ decent. We ordered irani chai (liked it), pani puri (disappointed, the flavored kick was missing from it), egg puffs (very tasty), chicken tandoori momo ( had huge expectations from this item. Expected soft-large sized momos, but they looked like the narrow fried ones which are available in grocery stores. However the red masala coating on top was the game changer and overall liked the flavor), chicken roll ( expected kathi roll like something which it wasn’t, but taste wise okayish), chicken fried rice (just color and absolutely no flavor). They had a large collection of pastries to choose from as well which I would like to try in next visit. A good funky place for some light snacks/appetizers (they tasted really good), better to avoid the main course. Next visit: lesser crowd, quickly served. The chicken puff here is amazing. We ordered chicken Gongura appetizer but were served the gravy instead. They realized their mistake themselves shortly after and provided us the gravy dish (overall good but salt was more than usual) complimentary along with the actual Gongura chicken served. Fish chilly was good and spicy. Thus changing the rating from a 3 to 4 star. The Black Forest was very good and the texture similar to the pastries available in India.
